This tote bag features the original cover design of the 2nd Russian edition of Evgeny Zamyatin's famous dystopian novel We (New York: Inter-Language Literary Associates, 1967). Written in 1921, the novel was banned in Russia and never published in the original in its entirety during the author's lifetime, although in the 1920s it was translated into English, Czech, and French. The 1st Russian edition of We was published in New York by Chekhov Publishing House in 1952.
