This study charts the publishing activities of Russian émigrés between 1918 and 1945 throughout the world, reflecting on the collection of periodicals in the Slavonic Library. The importance of this collection has been supported by the fact that in 2007 it was included in the UNESCO Memory of the World register. By using type differentiation and mapping the geographical spread of the publications, this study documents the topical variety of the journals and newspapers and their worldwide distribution. The study also illustrates the complexity and unique assemblage of this collection, which is housed in the Prague Slavonic Library. It was published in Czech, English, and Russian on the occasion of an exhibition in the Klementinum Gallery.
